PIXELFALL
A downloadable game for Windows
EVERY GRAIN OF THIS WORLD IS REAL.
PIXELFALL is a living pixel sandbox. Sand falls. Water finds its level. Fire spreads. Lava cools into stone you can walk on. It's a full cellular-automata simulation, all the way down — the world doesn't play an animation of physics, it IS physics, and I still catch myself just watching it go. Dig to the abyss, sail past the clouds, tame a horse, farm, brew, build. And somewhere out there, seven Keepers hold the amulets of the world's broken heart — no one of them falls to sword-swinging alone.

A SMALL CONFESSION
This build is on itch before it's on Steam.
The Steam page is coming — it's in review, and review queues move at their own stately pace. But I was honestly too excited to sit quietly and wait. So I built a little corner of the internet and filled it with the things I love: pixelfall.net
Some of what's waiting for you there, because a store page should be fun too:
• The title is alive. The PIXELFALL wordmark is a real falling-sand simulation — each letter its own material. Brush your cursor through it and the sand pours, the water flows, the fire letter burns upward. Every heading on the page does this. I may have gotten carried away.
• The music tool is open for you. PixelDAW — the little tracker I composed the soundtrack in — runs right in your browser. Scrub the piano rolls, remix the theme, export YOUR version as a WAV or MIDI. It's yours to keep.
• There's a bestiary of the wilds — and the seven Keepers are lovingly sealed away in it. They're a surprise. I won't spoil them, not even a silhouette. You'll understand when you meet one.
If the website makes you grin, the game will too — it's all the same engine-thinking underneath. And when the Steam page lands, a wishlist there would mean the world.

THE DEMO IS FREE. ALL OF IT.
This is the PIXELFALL demo — the living world, up to your first Amulet ceremony. No account, no Steam, no internet, no strings attached: one zip, one double-click, off you go. Download it here or at pixelfall.net — same file, whichever shelf you like.
• What's inside: the whole simulation — biomes, oceans, caves, farming, brewing, taming, building — all the way through your first Keeper and its Amulet
• Your save carries into the full game. What you build today, you keep
• The tip jar is entirely optional. The demo costs nothing — but if you drop something in, it lands with one very grateful solo dev
And the road ahead, plainly promised: when Early Access opens, it opens in parallel — here and on Steam, same day, same price ($9.99). Buy wherever feels right; buying direct supports me the most, but honestly, I'm just happy you're here.
One honest heads-up: this is a living build. You might meet a rough edge or a bug with your name on it. Tell me about it! There's a good chance it's gone by the next update — feedback this early genuinely shapes the game, and I read everything.

THE GAME, IN FIVE TRUE SENTENCES
• The world simulates. Cut a channel and the ocean follows you in. Freeze a waterfall and climb it.
• The world fights back. Meteor strikes, swarm hunts at dusk, a volcano with genuinely bad intentions.
• Seven Keepers guard seven amulets — and each is beaten by reshaping the world it lives in, not by hitting it harder. Drain the trench. Melt the winter. The rest is yours to figure out.
• Homesteading is real: crops with traits, elixirs, assembly-built bases, and a horse who is a very good boy.
• One seed, one column of world — from the galaxy sky to the deep dark, all connected, all yours.

THE FINE PRINT
Windows 10+, OpenGL 3.3, ~300 MB. Integrated GPUs welcome. Original soundtrack, composed note by note in our own little tracker. Solo-developed, made with love, care, and an unreasonable number of simulated grains of sand.
See you in the world,
